Not satisfied with the diagnosis of the Delegate we had sent to Salina Cruz for the purpose of examining the passengers, two doctors from the city, viz., Drs Luis Buhot and Angel Vallarino, the former being graduate from the Institute of Ophthalmology and assistant to its Director Dr. Toussaint, and frequently called in for assistance by Dr. Chavez, one of the first oculists of this country, while the latter is professor of the School of medicine in Mexico. The result of these two doctors' examination is that 285 of the men are free from trachoma while the balance they have to make a microscopical examination and pathological before being able to classify definitely as they are suffering from conjunctivitis and some other diseases of the eye, among which may be found trachoma. They have arrived this morning and will at once make the examination.
